About

Where it began

Like any kid, I had a major sweet tooth. Growing up my mom made the staples, but as I got older I wanted to learn for myself. My late grandparents were big into baking, so I would go through their recipe book and try to recreate my dads favorites. (His favorite is his mothers’ chocolate orange drop cookies, which I exclusively only make at Christmas now.)

I quickly learned that unlocking that moment when someone takes a bite of food and instantly falls in love is quite addicting. In addition, learning not only how to bake but the science behind it is a thrilling experience. Plus, you get to eat your science experiments.

How it’s going

Over the years, I’ve worked in a lot of different places. Bakeries, resorts, restaurants, and grocery stores, to name a few. I also did a few semesters of baking and pastry school.

I finally bit the bullet last year and started my own home-based bakery business in order to have the freedom of creativity. It’s been great selling at farmers markets and making so many great connections with customers!

Where We’re Heading

I am so excited to share that I’m starting a food trailer! It’s always been my dream to start a mobile bakery business, so that no matter where I go, I can always be of service. Stay tuned for all kinds of details!
